This software enables users to convert DVD and video files into several other formats, including 3GP, ASF, AVI, FLV, M2TS, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MKV, RMVB, TS, VOB, and even HD files.
Our Findings
The software immediately starts to download and finishes within a minute or two. The first pop-up prompt asks if you want to register and purchase the product, which you can opt out of in order to experience the free trial. The home screen features different tabs for performing different tasks, including Load Disc, Add File, and Edit.
We chose a file to test it out and clicked the large Convert button in the bottom right corner of the screen. This file was a decent size, so converting to an MP4 file took 2 minutes. We imagine converting a DVD file would take much longer, but that should be expected when using this software.
After converting the file, various capabilities are presented to personalize the finished product to your specific liking, which is definitely a plus side to this software. Some of these options include Rename the file, view Properties, play the converted file, and even Merge it with another to make one super-file. Clicking on Edit brings you to a pop-up screen with the options to change the brightness, saturation, volume, contrast, and hue, the abilities to de-interlace, trim the file, crop the file, and even add your own watermark on the file (which is awesome!).
Though the AnyMP4 Video Converter interface is simple to use, the website offers free technical support via e-mail and will respond to any inquiries within 24 hours.

Needs Improvement
The only con to note about this product is that it’s a bit pricey for the one-year subscription. We recommend buying the lifetime subscription for $20 more.

The entire process from installation to file upload to customization and export is clear and easy for anyone to understand and use.

If you are someone with a lot of videos in the FLV format, you definitely need this software. I’ve downloaded a lot of Youtube videos over the years and most of them were FLV formatted. BUT back then I had to use RealPlayer. And the new version of that program (RealPlayer Cloud) is terrible.
My operating system is Windows 7 and RealPlayer Cloud crashes every time I use it! So now I can’t even burn CDs with this new program. It’s extremely disappointing. BUT, then I found the Any MP4 Video Converter.
The program is super easy to use and it’s very user friendly. I’m really not experienced with any of this stuff but I didn’t even have to read through the instructions to figure the program out. Try it and you’ll love it.
I was very pleased to see this program was available for MAC and even offered a free trial for people like me who like to see what they are gonna get before they purchase it. With this program I could convert all my favorite YouTube videos and watch them on the go. With all the format choices you can prepare a video for all types of devices.
